THE RECAP & WORD FROM BRAD JONES

Round 6 of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship concluded today at Winton Motor Raceway. Cool conditions were again on the agenda, with teams struggling to get the right temperatures and heat into their tyres for the all important qualifying sessions. Tim started 20th and moved forward during the race, finishing in 18th.

Team CoolDrive now have a mid-season break, with the team heading to the country’s top end – Darwin, in June.

BRAD

“I thought Tim drove really well today, he had good pit stops and seemed to have better car pace. I thought it was a good result for him today. The traffic was the biggest problem here, passing was difficult for everyone out there.”
