THE FACTS ON TIM & WINTON - Tim will start his 100th VASC race at Winton on the Saturday - Of the 44 VASC races held at Winton on the current circuit in the V8 Supercar era (1997-2015), the safety car has appeared in 25 of them. - Tim won the 2007 Australian Ford Formula Championship round at Winton in his title-winning season. - Mark Winterbottom has claimed four Winton pole positions, more than any other driver in championship history. - Eight different drivers have won the first nine races of the season – a new championship record! - Tim finished 7th here in Dunlop Series in 2010 in Sonic Falcon, that was his first time here in V8 Supercars and only time he’s run here in DVS. |
