CoolDrive to Lead Technical Training at Autocare 2025

7 May, 2025

CoolDrive Auto Parts is gearing up for Autocare 2025, where it will be supporting Autocare’s technical training sessions and showcasing its latest tools and technologies, all aimed to support workshops in this ever-evolving automotive landscape.

As a key partner for workshops across Australia and New Zealand, CoolDrive will be at the forefront of Autocare 2025’s technical training program, which will feature a host of Australian and international experts.

Leading the charge will be CoolDrive’s Technical Trainer, Clint Flower who will present a session on diagnosing Common Rail Diesel (CRD) vehicle faults covering high/low-pressure fuel systems, faulty injectors, suction valves, high-pressure pumps, and the role of the ECU in CRD system.

Clint will also conduct a training session on diagnosing modern HVAC systems with R134a and R1234yf refrigerants, alongside maintaining ARCTICK compliance.

Sumin Kim, CoolDrive’s Tools & Equipment Product Manager, will also host a comprehensive training session on emissions control systems for petrol and diesel vehicles.

Attendees will learn about catalytic converters, particulate filters, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), and SCR/AdBlue systems, providing technicians with the knowledge to tackle the latest emissions control technologies.

“CoolDrive is committed to equipping workshops with the latest knowledge and solutions, ensuring technicians are prepared for the challenges of modern vehicle technology,” said Matthew Douglass, Head of Tools and Equipment at CoolDrive Auto Parts.

“Our sessions at Autocare 2025 are just one example of this ongoing commitment to technical training. This follows initiatives like our Bathurst 12 Hour Training Event, as well as A/C, diagnostic scan tools, and hybrid/EV technology training thus far, with more training events planned later this year.”

At Autocare, CoolDrive will also showcase cutting-edge automotive tools and equipment, including Bosch ADAS systems, the KTS / ESI[Tronic] Diagnostic Scan Tool, advanced A/C servicing technology, battery testing equipment, and A/C service tools from CPS and Ariazone.

A showcase of GYS products, including GYSFLASH PRO Battery Support Units which are critical during diagnostic work, and Powerduction Induction Heat Tools will also be on full display.

Also on display will be diagnostic tools from Launch and Prologics, engine speciality tools from EuroToolHaus, Picoscope oscilloscopes, as well as EV & Hybrid tools all designed to support the rapidly evolving landscape.

Autocare 2025 will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 20-21 June 2025.

CoolDrive Auto Parts will be located at Stand 87, while a second display showcasing its exclusive GYS equipment range will be at Stand 64.
