CoolDrive Celebrates Family Values and Automotive Heritage During National Family Business Day
13 Oct, 2026
CoolDrive Auto Parts recently celebrated National Family Business Day 2026, bringing its team together to recognise the people, values and automotive passion that continue to shape the Australian family-owned business.
Held on 18 September, the occasion provided an opportunity for CoolDrive to celebrate its history while recognising the important contribution family businesses make to industries and communities across Australia.
This year, CoolDrive marked the occasion with a Retro Automotive theme, with team members embracing the company’s automotive roots through creative outfits, team photos and branch decorations inspired by workshops, motorsport, classic cars and the automotive industry throughout the decades.
The theme provided a fitting way to celebrate CoolDrive’s strong automotive heritage and the passion for the industry that continues to remain at the heart of the business.
“As CoolDrive has grown, we have continued to maintain the family values, relationships and culture that have helped define the business throughout its history,” said John Blanchard, Executive Chairman at CoolDrive Auto Parts.
“National Family Business Day is a great opportunity to recognise the people behind CoolDrive and the contribution they make to our business. Our people are at the heart of our success, and it was fantastic to see everyone embrace the occasion with such genuine enthusiasm.”
For many CoolDrive team members, that passion has been influenced by their own family histories, with connections to workshops, mechanical trades, motorsport, parts and the wider automotive aftermarket spanning generations.
The celebrations also highlighted the diversity of CoolDrive’s people and the many personal connections they have with the automotive industry, with team members enthusiastically embracing the occasion.
“Seeing everyone get behind the retro theme was a fantastic reflection of the enthusiasm and personality within our business,” continued John.
“It was a great way to celebrate where we have come from, while recognising the people and relationships that continue to shape CoolDrive as we look to the future.”
The National Family Business Day celebrations highlighted the strong culture that continues to underpin CoolDrive, bringing together its family-business heritage, automotive roots and the people who contribute to its ongoing success.
