CoolDrive’s Bathurst Business Boost

1 Jul, 2020

CoolDrive Auto Parts is looking to give one lucky business a boost, with a once in a lifetime opportunity to be featured on the Team CoolDrive Supercar at this year’s Bathurst 1000.

To enter, CoolDrive account customers simply submit a 90 second self-shot video, or in 250 words or less answer why their workshop should be featured on the Team CoolDrive Supercar, how the opportunity will help the business, and how the business will leverage the opportunity to push forward in 2020 and beyond.

“The Bathurst 1000 is the biggest event on the motorsport calendar, so we are proud to be in a position where one of our customers can come along for the ride with us!” said John Blanchard, CoolDrive Auto Parts CEO.

“There is no doubt that 2020 has been a difficult time for all businesses, our aim through this period is to support our loyal customers the very best we can.

“Through this competition we want to stimulate the aftermarket and workshops, and share some of the publicity this amazing event provides.

“Last year, the exposure the race received was staggering; Network 10 viewership was up 6.6 percent, with Fox Sports up 21.5, culminating in a combined TV audience of nearly 2.5 million people at the end of the broadcast.

“Correspondingly, the event also carries a massive following through online and social media channels, meaning it is the one event you really want to be involved in.

“Outside of the potential exposure, there is nothing better than being able to cheer on your car that is carrying your branding, it’s a great buzz, and it really makes you feel a part of the action.

“Our driver Macauley Jones is a star on the rise, so Bathurst this year will be one event to get excited about!”

The competition is open to CoolDrive account customers in Australia and New Zealand between July 1st and August 31st 2020, with the Bathurst 1000 scheduled from October 8th to 11th.
