4 Jul, 2025
CoolDrive Auto Parts made a strong impact at Autocare 2025, held 20–21 June in Brisbane, with an impressive presence that reinforced its commitment to the automotive aftermarket through technical expertise, innovation, and industry advocacy.
As a major contributor to the event’s technical training program, CoolDrive delivered some of the most well-attended sessions, with Technical Trainer Clint Flower leading in-depth diagnostics sessions on Common Rail Diesel systems and modern HVAC technologies, arming technicians with essential skills in fault identification and system compliance.
Meanwhile, CoolDrive’s Tools & Equipment Product Manager Sumin Kim conducted comprehensive sessions on emissions control systems for petrol and diesel vehicles.
CoolDrive’s participation at Autocare 2025 extended beyond technical training though, with the company’s General Manager of Sales and AAAA Board Member, Dale Durden, a contributing member of an industry panel exploring how innovation and advocacy continue to shape the automotive aftermarket.
This inspiring discussion highlighted the importance of unity, resilience, and shared purpose in fostering the industry’s self-determined growth.
Matthew Douglass, CoolDrive’s Head of Equipment & Tools, participated as a panel member at the launch of the AAAA ADAS - Industry Code of Conduct.
As a member of the AAAA ADAS Technical Working Group, Matthew added depth to the panel’s exploration of national standards and the future of safe and consistent ADAS repairs to help existing repairers or repairers considering taking on ADAS repairs, to follow a best practice to achieve correct calibration of vehicles ADAS systems.
Across both days, CoolDrive’s stands drew steady engagement from visitors, with both featuring an extensive showcase of workshop-ready equipment.
Technologies on display included the Bosch KTS / ESI[Tronic] diagnostic scan tool, advanced A/C servicing tools from CPS and Ariazone, battery testing equipment, as well as various SP Tools products, and workshop safety equipment from Super Spill & Safety Solutions.
There was also a separate showcase of GYS products, including GYSFLASH PRO Battery Support Units and Powerduction Induction Heat Tools, along with diagnostic tools from Launch and Prologics, engine specialty tools from EuroToolHaus, Picoscope oscilloscopes, and a comprehensive range of EV and Hybrid solutions.
“Events like Autocare are a great opportunity to connect with technicians and workshop owners, and to share the practical tools and training that can make a real difference in their day-to-day operations,” said Jock Harris, Marketing Manager – Trade at CoolDrive Auto Parts.
“The CoolDrive team had a lot of valuable conversations with attendees about diagnostics, ADAS, and EV readiness, which really reflects where the industry is heading - and how CoolDrive can support with our technical training sessions.”
The Autocare sessions form part of CoolDrive’s national technical training program, which is delivered by a team of automotive trainers, former trade teachers and dealership professionals.
With specialist sessions held throughout the year, the program is designed to meet the evolving needs of workshops across Australia and New Zealand.
