The base unit is compact and is able fit under the bed, making installation simple with customers not requiring a refrigeration mechanic or electrician! The air distribution unit or air outlet is mounted under/above the overhead cupboards with flexible ducts and wiring routed through cupboards. The Underbunk UB1 is fully charged with R407C refrigerant and simply plugs into a 240V wall socket, adding to the enjoyment of camping thanks to its practical functionality. Denso’s Rooftop RT1 (part number EV9260) design is the lightest unit with the lowest profile in its class. It’s the first caravan air conditioner in Australia to combine the technology of a thermal expansion valve with high efficiency R410a refrigerant; these technologies are common to advanced automotive and domestic air conditioning systems. The universal design of the Rooftop RT1 is suited for 360x360mm or 400x400mm roof cut-outs, and roof thickness from 28-80mm. Electronics are controlled via a microprocessor based ECU, featuring low noise fans with built in safety protection features.
