“The first session at Winton today was the additional driver session. Todd Hazelwood did a great job for his first session in the main series car in what were very trying conditions. The rain has been consistent and heavy all day which is making it quite challenging as the track conditions have worsened.”
“There were a lot of guys going off track in practice one, with turn one in particular catching a lot of people out. With conditions looking to improve by tomorrow, what we learn from the wet conditions probably won’t be a huge help going into tomorrow.”
