CoolDrive Auto Parts Announces Top-Performing Branches for 2019
28 Aug, 2019
Australasia’s largest family-owned automotive parts distributor, CoolDrive Auto Parts, recently recognised outstanding business performances at its annual Branch of the Year Awards.
Conducted at Rydges Norwest in Sydney in early August, the CoolDrive Branch of the Year Awards, sponsored by REDARC, was attended by over 100 guests including senior company management, key staff, branch managers, suppliers and industry special guests.
Measured on several performance criteria, the CoolDrive Branch of the Year awards are split into revenue turnover and regional categories, with the awards themselves named after key company founders and personnel.
The winner of the WJ (John Senior) Blanchard Branch of the Year award for turnover over $5 million was CoolDrive’s Perth branch, which pipped Townsville for the accolade.
Winner of the SL (Shirley) Blanchard Branch of the Year award for turnover under $5 million was Rockhampton, with second place going to Geelong.
The second-ever JW (John) Blanchard Region of the Year award went to New Zealand in recognition of the region’s phenomenal growth over the past year
“It’s a landmark for the business that New Zealand has won Region of the Year for the first time,” CoolDrive Auto Parts CEO John Blanchard said.
“The team in New Zealand headed by Aaron Carr has done a stellar job growing both the business and the company’s profile there and creating opportunities to increase our presence in the market
“Of course, all our winners are well-deserved and are to be congratulated for the hard work they’ve put in over the past 12 months, which is what the recognition of the Branch awards is all about.
“It’s always a highlight of our year.”
