Update from CoolDrive…24 Mar, 2020 We would like to update you on how CoolDrive is handling the evolving situation.CoolDrive is still business as usual and will remain open to service your business for as long as the relevant Government and Health Authorities deem it safe to do so. As has been the case from the beginning, the health and wellbeing of our staff, customers and communities is at the forefront of every decision we make. There are a few things we would like to share with you though:Sales Representatives – We have asked all External Sales Representatives to come off the road, they will still be contacting you, however this will be done by phone or email. Deliveries – All deliveries are currently continuing as usual (but see below new handling procedures). Government Assistance – Our industry body the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) have shared on their website information relating to Cash Flow Assistance for Automotive Businesses as announced in the latest stimulus package. Details can be found at www.aaaa.com.au/news or by clicking here. Product Supply – Currently there has been minimal impact to our supply chain from our supplier base. We continue to monitor this closely and we advise if we start to see this change. Risk Management – We have taken the steps to split our head office staff into two teams operating from different locations. Our distribution center also operates from 2 locations. This means that should we have to close a site we will still be able to continue supporting you without any additional risk. We would also like to remind you of the changed business and hygiene practices we introduced last week:Proof of Delivery – Delivery drivers will be asking for a name only when delivering product as proof of delivery. For now, we will not require a signature to reduce risk from sharing pens etc. Handling Product – We have asked that when product is delivered or at a Sales Counter that our staff place the product on the bench and do not hand the product directly to another person. This applies to handing out marketing material as well. Interaction with Staff – We have asked our staff to please avoid shaking hands and where possible all contact with other people. Your assistance in maintaining self-distancing is appreciated too. Hand Sanitizers – We are providing Hand Sanitizers where possible across the business. Branch Cleaning – We have increased our regular branch cleaning across the network focussing on high contact surfaces. Communication – We are in constant communication with our staff regarding the best hygiene practices to ensure we are doing everything possible to reduce any risk to our customers. We thank you for your support during these difficult times and will endeavour to keep you up to date and support your business to the best of our ability as the situation evolves.INVITATIONSpecial Information Webinar for AAAA Members Due to the rapidly evolving health crisis caused by Coronavirus (COVID-19), the automotive aftermarket industry is navigating high levels of uncertainty.
