Just in time for Christmas, CoolDrive is excited to release the Noco Genius Boost GB30 jump starter.

The GB30 is a portable, mini, pocket sized lithium-ion jump starter for 12-volt lead-acid batteries. It can safely jump start a dead battery in seconds, like on a car, boat, motorcycle, ATV, RV, lawn mower, truck and more. The GB30 is powered by a High-Density NOCO Element lithium-ion battery that can hold its charge for up to one year, and handle over 1,000 cycles.

A fantastic Christmas present, the Genius Boost is designed to fit perfectly in the glove box or any other storage area in a vehicle. It is capable of jump starting a 6.0L engine vehicle up to 20 times per charge as well as charging your smartphone, tablets, GPS and more out of the 2.1A USB port.

The Genius Boost is designed to be the safest battery jump starter pack available. To do that, a complex array of top-of-the-line processors, thermal sensors, and power management devices are built in to provide reverse polarity protection meaning it is spark proof if connected in reverse.

This is an extremely safe car jump starter for use by all types of drivers – from skilled mechanics to those with little or no technical savvy.

Q: What happens of you touch the clamps together?

A: Nothing, it is perfectly safe and there will be no sparks. Boost has built in sensors that prevent power from being delivered, unless a battery is detected.

Q: What happens of you connect to a battery backwards? (Reverse Polarity)

A: The error LED will illuminate, but it is perfectly safe and there will be no sparks. Boost will not deliver power unless the battery is connected to the battery correctly.

Q: Do you have to disconnect any cables to use this product?

A: No. Connect directly to the positive post first, then the negative.

Q: How long does it hold a charge?

A: It can hold 70% of its rated capacity for up to one year. For optimal performance, we recommend charging the device at least every 6-12 months, after initial charge.

Q: How is it recharged?

A: It is USB rechargeable. Any qualified USB AC Adapter, Car Charger, Laptop or any other USB powered port can recharge the device.

Q: Can it recharge my branded smartphone?

A: Yes. It can recharge all generations of smartphones on the market, as well as, HD action cameras, tablets, music players, wireless speakers and more.

Q: Does it have any limitations on car engine size for jump starting?

A: Yes. It is primarily designed for single battery vehicles with engine displacements up to 6 litres or 6,000cc. This vast majority of vehicles on the road are below this size, and will work with Boost.

Q: Is it waterproof?

A: It carries a rating of IP65 with the port covers closed, which means it can be exposed to water without any issues.  It cannot be submerged in water.

Q: How long does it take to recharge?

A: It will recharge in about 3 hours with the included 12V USB Car Charger. If you use another USB charger or USB port rated below 2 Amps, the charging times will be increased (6 hours at 1A, and 12 hours at 500mA).
