Crimping Cutting and Stripping Tools from CoolDrive

An enhancement to any workshop, CoolDrive has introduced a comprehensive range of new Jaylec Crimping, Cutting and Stripping tools for every occasion.
Manufactured from the highest-quality materials and ergonomically designed to operate comfortably and safely, the smooth-action Jaylec tools include cable cutters, wire strippers and crimping tools.
No fewer than nine new Crimping Tools are offered by Jaylec, four of them with cleverly colour-coded jaws that correlate to the colour-coding of Jaylec’s Crimp terminal Assortment Kits.
This colour-coding reduces crimping time and avoids errors.
Jaylec’s Ratchet Crimping Tools include heavy-duty and standard adjustable units, to suit both insulated and non-insulated terminals, and wire sizes from 0.5mm² to 6.00mm².
Each has a safety handle that must be compressed a full cycle to be released, multiple settings to ensure full contact crimping, and a pressure adjustment on the ratchet.
There’s also a Jaylec Ratchet Crimping Tool Kit, which comes with four replaceable dies.
Easy to install, these dies allow for one tool to crimp multiple terminal configurations.
Jaylec has also introduced a non-ratchet type Crimping Tool for insulated terminals, which strips and cuts wires up to 6.00mm² and again features the handy colour-coding.
For crimping copper cable lugs from 6mm² to 120mm², Jaylec has four distinctly different alternatives in standard and heavy-duty specifications.
The Copper Cable Lug Crimping Tools feature plastic coated insulated handles for a positive grip with guard, long arms for extra leverage, a narrow design for confined spaces, and several feature revolving dies.
Depending on the model, these units provide an Indent type crimp, a Hex type crimp or a Hexto type crimp, while one unit can also be used in conjunction with a bench vice for maximum workshop versatility.
Completing the range offering from CoolDrive, there’s the Jaylec Cable Cutters, the Wire Strippers and the Wire Cutters & Strippers.
The Cable Cutters has forged steel cutters to handle up to 60mm² cable, offer one handed operation with no cable crushing, and feature a plastic coated insulated handle.
Jaylec’s Wire Strippers are adjustable, with single handed operation with a spring loaded handle, and will strip wire from 0.13mm² to 6.00mm² diameter.
And the Wire Cutters & Strippers handle wire from 0.2mm² to 6.00mm² diameter utilising a self-adjusting wire stripping mechanism and a handy spring-loaded handle.
