CoolDrive logistics keeps parts moving

The CoolDrive ethos of striving to give our customers the sort of service & support we would like to receive ourselves is very much evident when observing our warehouse teams go about their work. Our people genuinely make a difference and we are fortunate to have experienced, loyal & customer focussed staff filling our warehouse teams around the country.

In our busy Box Hill Distribution Centre and Branch warehouse that loyalty & experience is reflected in the fact that well over half of our permanent staff have been with us 5 years, and a number of those more than 10.

Whilst we strive to attract & retain quality people by providing modern, clean, safe facilities & the necessary training & support, it still takes a special person to excel on a daily basis in what is a challenging work environment.

Time pressure is constant & attention to detail is a must. Every day is a race against the clock to process in excess of 25,000 parts.  On top of that throw in plenty of fresh challenges presented by our ever increasing range & supplier base, and expanding branch network. All the time searching for better ways to service our customer’s needs.

And as you walk around any of our warehouses it’s impossible to miss the fact our teams are passionate about getting the important things done the right way.

At CoolDrive we are very proud of the significant improvements our warehouse teams have made in service, accuracy & efficiency year on year for many years – none of which is possible without good people.

But there is no time to rest – they are already busy working on the next batch of orders, the next batch of brand new products & next new opportunities to improve – the clock never stops.
