THE FACTS ON TIM & TASSIE

- Tim finished 3^rd here in the Australian Formula Ford Championship round in 2007 – his title winning season – and 6^th in 2006.

- Holden drivers have won the last 10 races at Symmons Plains in a row spread across Triple Eight (7 wins) and Brad Jones Racing (3 wins). The last Ford win was Will Davison on Saturday in 2012.

- Only five times (from 76 races) has a Symmons Plains ATCC/V8SC race had every car that started also classify as a finisher.

-  Tim’s father John Blanchard competed in the 1993 ATCC round at Symmons Plains in a BMW M3 – finishing 14^th and 13^th.
