THE WORD FROM TIM

Today’s race at Phillip Island provided plenty of action. Tim did a brilliant job to avoid the lap one drama and jump forward through the field. He was one of the unlucky drivers to suffer tyre damage at the start of lap 22, causing him to nurse his car the entire lap and back into the pit lane. Some cars had to pit over five times due to failures or getting pit lane penalties for crossing the line coming into the pit lane.

This mixed the order up quite a lot, and the cars that managed to keep out of most of the drama found themselves in a solid position. Tim is looking forward to the next 250kms around Phillip Island tomorrow.
