Team CoolDrive Celebrates History

1 Feb, 2017

Team CoolDrive is the first Holden Commodore out of the Brad Jones Racing stable to unveil its 2017 livery.

Tim Blanchard’s Team CoolDrive Commodore has been ‘white hot’ in recent years, but for 2017 fans will be looking at a shining, dark blue livery on track. The livery was designed in-house and was brought to life using only the best PPG Paints and Roland DG printers for the wraps.

2017 marks a big year for CoolDrive, as they celebrate 40 years in business. From selling automotive air conditioning parts from the family garage in 1977, CoolDrive now boasts 26 locations across Australia and New Zealand.

Being family owned and operated since its inception is something the family is very proud of. A special ’40 years’ logo will be featured on the car, honoring the CoolDrive milestone.

Tim said “It is quite a bit different to the livery of the past 2 seasons, so to start the season with a fresh look is exciting.”

“The livery also pays tribute to the 40th Anniversary milestone that CoolDrive achieves later this year. I know CoolDrive are arranging some cool promotions throughout the year to celebrate the achievement which will be good to see.”

The liveries for team-mates Tim Slade and Nick Percat will be revealed over the coming weeks.
