“I really enjoyed my time in the Team CoolDrive Commodore today, it was like the car was on rails. The CoolDrive car is different to what I’m used to driving but I felt comfortable in the car and to get P1 was unreal. It was really beneficial to me to get a good number of laps under my belt, because the only other time I’ve driven this car was in torrential conditions at Winton. It was good to get a better feel for the CoolDrive car and talk to Tim and the engineers afterwards and go through it all.”
“It’s a pretty special day for me because I make my Supercars debut this weekend in the wildcard entry, so I’ll be in my own car racing against Tim and all the other Supercars drivers. It’s a great way to start my weekend and I’m excited for the sessions ahead.”
