“We had a smoother race today and got a better result than yesterday. The strategy worked well and we were able to jump a few car during the pit stops which worked really well. It’s an improvement on how we went here last year.”
“It was a good battle there at the end of the race. I had on older tyres than most of the guys behind me, so on the restart I was pushed around a fair bit so I tried to get the elbows up as much as I could to maintain position. It would have been pretty entertaining to watch that group of cars there at the end.”
“Overall there are a few positives to take out of the weekend and with a test day between now and Sydney I think we’ll regroup, try a few new things we’ve been working on and be able to go there with a bit of confidence.”
