- Tim filled in for Todd Kelly in 2012 at Winton after Kelly sat out the remainder of the season with shoulder surgery.
- Tim has competed in 10 races at Winton since 2012. His best finish was 9th with DJR in 2013.
- The last time a Winton VASC/ATCC round did not see the introduction of a safety car at any stage over the weekend was 1999. That particular weekend featured three sprint races – it was also the last time the old start/finish line was used.
- Tim won the Australian Formula Ford Championship round at Winton in 2007.
- There has been just one Winton ATCC/VASC race that has been red flagged – Race 1 in 2001 when Tony Longhurst was tapped and then crashed at turn four. The car wasn’t able to be recovered in time for the race to restart. Results were declared on lap 28, it was set to be a 32 lap race.
