“It looks like we’re set for a weekend with pretty mixed weather here at Pukekohe. Rain is forecast for most of tomorrow, and dry conditions are in store for Sunday.”
“Our cars have proved to be strong in the wet, which we’ve had a lot of over the past few rounds, so if it sets in for tomorrow I expect the Team CoolDrive Commodore to perform well. The race format is different this weekend, with 200kms on the agenda for each day we’ve got a better chance to work strategy and move forward. The 100km sprint race format in previous years didn’t really allow the chance for that, making qualifying super important. This changes that up a bit and it’ll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.”
