“The Gold Coast circuit is pretty tough on both car and driver, you’re dealing with heat one day, and tomorrow it’s looking like rain, so I feel like it’s going to throw everything at us this weekend!”
“The room for error is none, so for Todd who is here for the first time, learning the new circuit is a challenge. The more laps Todd is able to complete, the more his confidence will grow. The kerbs can catch you out because you need to get them right, especially when you are going through the sectors where you are bouncing off one kerb onto another.”
“The suspension components and dampers have a very tough time at the Gold Coast dealing with high velocity impacts and shock loading lap in, lap out. So you want confidence in your car, knowing it’ll move how you want it to.”
