THE WORD FROM TODD
“It was a tough day in the office. We had to suffer an extra pit stop with a mechanical black flag with our front guard coming loose which is a shame because we didn’t hit anyone or any kerbs. It put us a lap down early in the race.”
“That changed our strategy so I had to go for a longer stint in the car, and having no safety cars which is super rare around here didn’t help our cause.”
“The car was really good, we had good race pace and moved up a few spots which would have been great to hand the CoolDrive Commodore back to Tim in a better spot than we started. Going that lap down hurt us, we just couldn’t get it back.”
“I’m really fortunate that I was able to work with such a great team as CoolDrive and Brad Jones Racing for my first Pirtek Endurance Cup. They gave me a great car at every event and gave me a great deal of confidence and trusted me to do a good job. I can’t thank everyone enough for making it all happen and I wish Tim all the best for the final rounds of the championship.”
