“The Team CoolDrive Commodore feels so much different to the car we had in Townsville, I feel like I’ve got my race car back and we’ve got something to work with for the weekend ahead. It just needs a little tuning from here.”

“It was great to have my co-driver Dale Wood here today to get his first taste behind the wheel. He was able to familiarise himself with the new car; and looking ahead we’ve got our two test days to be done before the endurance cup kicks off, so he’ll get plenty more laps in before then.”

“I really enjoyed my first outing in the Team CoolDrive Commodore today, there are lots of different things like shifting and braking that are different to the Porsche which I’m currently racing. There will be a few things that I will need to focus on and change when it comes to getting out of one car and into another. It’s just looking at what these cars do differently and making sure I adapt as quickly as possible to the best job I can behind the wheel.”

“Once I get in a few more laps I think I’ll be able to give Tim some better feedback on the car and together, hopefully we can fine tune it that little bit and make it better.”
