“It was a disappointing result at Queensland Raceway today. I felt like we took a step backwards from yesterday and didn’t qualify the Team CoolDrive Commodore where we wanted to, so I knew we would have to work hard to move forward in the race.”

“The pit stop lost us time today. We share a boom and crew with Car #35, and since Todd Hazelwood had pulled into the pits to fix an issue with his car, the crew were caught up trying to get him back out as quickly as they could. When I got called into the pits it was a rush for the crews to be ready, so it was far from the smooth stop it should have been. It is easy to make these mistakes under such pressure when there is a lot going on.”

“We finished 23^rd today but hopefully we can qualify further up the grid tomorrow and have a better run than we did today.”
