“We’ve always managed to finish higher than we’ve started here at Townsville, so we’re hoping to continue that trend here this weekend. There are a few key passing spots here, at turns two, four and the last section of corners.

“The rear tyres will work pretty hard across the two 200-kilometer races, as you really need to attack the kerbs here. You need the right balance of aggressive and managing the tyres, if you go too hard, you can torch them pretty quick. With two races, expect to see a fair mix of strategies from teams in the next two days.”
