Winner: David Reynolds THE WORD FROM TIM “The qualifying result wasn’t what we wanted today, again the times were super close. You’re really only chasing one or two tenths, which can make a big difference to where you start. We started from 21st and got caught up in the lap one incident that saw a couple of us take an off-track excursion and lose some spots.” “One of the exhaust headers broke during the second stint with about thirty laps to go, it was a fair battle to drive it in the final stint. We brought the Team CoolDrive Commodore across the line in 18th which was an improvement on where we started, but it sounded more like a tractor than a V8 when I parked it back at the garage!” “We continue to chase the summer around in these next couple of months, next up is Townsville, and we’ll be stopping in Rockhampton and Mackay along the way. We’ll have the Team CoolDrive Transporter and Supercar there on show, so the staff and customers can check us out and meet some of the crew and I. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!” COMING UP
