“Qualifying was super close today, a mere two tenths of a second would have seen us as high as fifth! The middle group of times had almost nothing in it.”
“It was a pretty tough race for us today. We didn’t quite have the right balance in the Team CoolDrive Commodore which meant it didn’t look after its tyres as well as we would have liked. It made defending track position quite tough. I made an error there at the end which cost us a few spots, so it was unfortunate to not move forward like we should have.”
“We’re happy with the qualifying pace, and only need to find the smallest amount of time to move forward; however, we just need the car to settle down a little bit more for the race so we can look after the tyres. We’ll be back for another go tomorrow!”
