“It was a tough end to our first race here in Perth today. I felt something go in the front of the car with only two laps to go. It happened right at the last corner so I’ve dived into the pits for the team to look at it. By the time they got me going again the red light was on at the end of pit lane so I couldn’t re-join for the final lap.”
“It’s pretty disappointing to not be classed as a finisher for the race as it means we get zero points on the board. I was as high as 16th at one point, so hopefully the longer 200km race will be much kinder to us tomorrow.”
