Team CoolDrive’s Tim Blanchard and Dale Wood are all set for this weekend’s great race - The Bathurst 1000. The Bathurst event is like no other, with drivers taking on Mount Panorama flat out for 1000kms!
It is known as one of the best circuits in the world, for its elevation, corners, high speed straights and the incredible challenge that it provides drivers, teams and cars alike. Bathurst is one of those places where anything and everything can happen, and on race day… it usually does! All sessions will be LIVE on FOX Sports across the weekend, plus coverage on Channel Ten/One HD. Check your local guides for times. - Dick Johnson holds the record for the most appearances in the Bathurst shootout - 21
- Dale Wood was behind the wheel of the #21 Commodore when all 3 BJR cars made it into the Top 10 shootout for the very first time at Mount Panorama, in 2014
- The car that has started on pole position has won the Bathurst race 11 times, the last time this happened was when Garth Tander and Will Davison won for HRT in 2009.
