“The rain made for a less than ideal start to our Bathurst 1000 weekend. The wet and wild conditions don’t see us push these cars like we really need to.”

“Rain is forecast again for tomorrow and set to clear before we qualify. This makes it interesting because people are trying to tune the cars to make them better; but we’re not truly understanding how these changes will affect the car until the conditions are good.”

“There were a number of cars that only completed a handful of laps in the practice sessions, and some didn’t even go out on track at all. Some don’t want to put any unnecessary wear and tear on the car, and if you push that little bit too much it could result in a costly mistake; which no-one wants this early on in the weekend. Let’s hope the forecast is better than expected for tomorrow so we can really get this weekend underway!”
