Significant Sydney Expansion For CoolDrive

Australian automotive parts distributor CoolDrive Auto Parts has significantly expanded its Sydney operations with a move to new premises.

Now relocated in a 3,000 square metre facility at Kings Park, CoolDrive Auto Parts has combined operations with its sister EFI Division to create a major presence in the Sydney market.

“Sydney has long been a strong market for CoolDrive, but our previous location did not allow us to take advantage of potential growth,” CoolDrive’s General Manager of Marketing, Tim Blanchard said.

“The same was true of the EFI Division, so relocation was the obvious solution to enable that potential for both, and allow us to access cost-effective back-end synergies and savings.

“We think too that the businesses are complementary, and that will naturally encourage additional opportunities for further work.”

Under the leadership of experienced Branch Manager Mario Corio, the merged CoolDrive-EFI Division will carry more than 70,000 product lines on-site, in a much larger customised fit-out designed to both consolidate services and enable business growth.

The EFI Division was previously located in Granville and will move into the premises mid-November 2018.
