Aunger launches Affordable Shock Absorbers Range at CoolDrive

Aunger has launched an affordable range of shock absorbers, now available exclusively through CoolDrive Auto Parts. Also available are Aunger suspension struts, which include all mounting hardware. 

Iconic Australian automotive accessory brand Aunger has launched an affordable range of shock absorbers, available exclusively from CoolDrive Auto Parts branches.

Developed and manufactured to original equipment specifications, the new range of Aunger shock absorbers is aimed at popular older model cars and is priced accordingly.

“Some of these shock absorbers in older vehicles could be getting a little tired and require replacing, so a priority for owners is restoring the car’s original ride and handling characteristics,” CoolDrive Auto Parts Product Manager - Underbody, Graeme Dyall said.

“But at the same time they are getting toward the bottom of their resale value, so it doesn’t make a lot of economic sense to spend big money on major brand shock absorbers.

“That’s why the Aunger range was developed – to readily restore the vehicle’s original ride qualities while, more importantly, enhancing its handling and safety, all at a much more affordable price point.”

Sourced from original-equipment suppliers, the Aunger shock absorber range comes with a standard three-year 60,000km limited warranty in line with similar OEM products.

The new Aunger shock absorbers all feature top quality NOK oil seals and upgraded piston rods to ensure smooth, trouble-free operation, while the suspension struts include all mounting hardware such as bump stops and dust covers/boot kits where applicable, avoiding the need to source these separately.

Available in a range of 41 fitments, the Aunger shock absorbers are available for VR-VE Holden Commodore models, BA-FG Ford Falcon, SX & SY Ford Territory, BK-model Mazda3, Toyota’s Camry and Aurion and Holden’s Apollo.

Two 4x4 fitments are also offered, for the Toyota LandCruiser and Nissan Patrol.
