CoolDrive & GME Partner to Support Children’s Charities
1 Nov, 2021
CoolDrive Auto Parts is proud to partner with GME to raise funds and awareness for two charities making a difference to children’s lives in Australia and New Zealand.
From 1 November to 17 December 2021, $15 from every GME TX6600S handheld UHF CB radio sold in Australia will be donated to the Kids with Cancer Foundation, while in New Zealand, equivalent sales will see $15 donated to the Special Children’s Christmas Parties appeal.
“It’s fantastic to be working with GME to support these two wonderful charities in their incredible work; both are causes dear to our hearts,” said John Blanchard, CoolDrive CEO.
“The Kids with Cancer Foundation’s fundraising efforts assist in its endeavours to improve the outcomes for children with cancer, by ensuring access to medical facilities, while supporting families in their time of need.
“While in New Zealand, the Special Children’s Christmas Parties focuses on giving Kiwi children with special needs, challenging life or health circumstances - and their families and caregivers - a celebration to remember. To allow them to have fun and to be kids.
“GME has extensively worked in the charity space with partners such as Beyond Blue, McGrath Foundation, Humpty Dumpty Foundation, and Sydney Special Children’s Christmas Party, so to be able to deliver this project in conjunction with them is an honour.
“As a brand, GME has formed an enviable reputation as leaders in the RF communication technology space, and like CoolDrive, they are a 100 percent Australian family-owned business.”
