CoolDrive Awards Top Branches for 2022
25 Aug, 2022
Australasia’s largest family-owned automotive parts distributor, CoolDrive Auto Parts has recognised outstanding performance at its annual Branch Conference, awarding its top-performing branches for 2022. Conducted at Melbourne’s Crown Casino in August, the CoolDrive Branch Conference was attended by over 190 guests including senior company management, key staff, branch managers, suppliers and industry dignitaries. “It had been a long time since the CoolDrive teams and the industry were able to get together to celebrate the success of our branches across Australia and New Zealand,” said John Blanchard, Chief Executive Officer, CoolDrive Auto Parts. “Due to Covid restrictions and lockdowns, our Branch Conferences have been held virtually for the last two years. While still a great event, it doesn’t compare to being able to come together in person to swap ideas, discuss business developments and enjoy each other’s company. “All of our branches are to be commended for their stellar efforts over the last 12 months, with a big congratulations to our winning branches and regions.”
Measured on a number of performance criteria, the CoolDrive Branch of the Year awards are split into revenue turnover and regional categories, with the awards themselves named after the company founders and key personnel.
The winner of the WJ (John Senior) Blanchard Large Branch of the Year award was the 2020 and 2021 runner-up, Victoria’s Hallam branch, which was followed by the Gold Coast branch in Queensland. Winner of the SL (Shirley) Blanchard Small Branch of the Year award was New South Wales’ Wagga Wagga branch, with New Zealand’s Christchurch branch the runner-up. The top-performing region was Victoria/Tasmania, which received the JW (John) Blanchard Award for Region of the Year.
