CoolDrive Secures Additional Distribution Centre

CoolDrive Auto Parts has secured an additional Distribution Centre to enable the family-owned company to continue to deliver products to its branch network quickly and efficiently.

Located in the Melbourne suburb of Knoxfield, the new Distribution Centre will provide support to CoolDrive’s existing Distribution Centres and will became operational in early October.

“This new site will add 6,000 square metres of warehouse space to CoolDrive’s existing distribution footprint at Box Hill and Blackburn,” said John Blanchard, Chief Executive Officer at CoolDrive Auto Parts.

“It will also provide the operational and storage capacity to support our growth path, whilst relieving congestion at both these sites and to allow us to better service our customers.

“With the continual growth of CoolDrive, both within our branch network and our product and service offerings, it was necessary to secure this additional space to enable us to carry a larger product inventory to adequately service the markets we are expanding in to.”

Located within immediate proximity to major arterial roads in Melbourne’s outer South-East, the Knoxfield site will service all CoolDrive branches across Australasia.
