CoolDrive at Summernats 35

CoolDrive Auto Parts’ Performance and Motorsport division, Racer Industries headed to Canberra to be part of "Australia's largest horsepower party", Summernats 35. 

A unique celebration of automotive culture, Summernats 35 was the ideal event for CoolDrive to showcase its performance brand Racer Industries and its vast range of products while connecting with like-minded performance enthusiasts.

The event was a tremendous success, with the biggest SUMMERNATS ever being a complete sell-out with three of the four days welcoming a crowd of over 100,000.

The 2023 showing saw a wide variety of vehicles enter, from the traditional hot rods, muscle cars and Aussie classics to Euro and Japanese performance cars, with this year's Grand Champion being Real Steel Group's 1978 Porsche 911 SC.

Highlights of the Racer Industries display were the new range of Chevrolet LT1 and LT4 engines, XS performance injectors, Project Mu high-performance brake components and a vast selection of Sparco Motorsport products and apparel.

Also on display was a range of Black Series high-performance alternators, which were incredibly popular with show-goers and even fitted to some entrants' cars, as well as US Radiators direct fit radiators which suit all muscle cars and hot rods including Aussie muscle in the form of HK-G and HQ-Z Holdens. 

With over 2,800 participants pre-registering, it was also a great opportunity to showcase CoolDrive's outdoor and lifestyle accessories brand, HULK 4X4 with products to suit the campers.

Capping off the display were a range of items from Vintage Air aftermarket air-conditioning components helping to keep owners cool while cruising in their classic. 

This year marked the second time CoolDrive's Racer Industries brand has exhibited at Summernats and is part of the family-owned company's move into the performance products arena, which was headlined by the addition of Racer Industries to its fold in 2021.
