CoolDrive Welcomes New Inductees into Hall of Fame

CoolDrive Auto Parts has recognised staff loyalty, commitment, and contribution with the recent induction of two long-standing team members into its Hall of Fame.

Announced at CoolDrive’s annual Branch Conference in July, the newest Hall of Fame inductees were confirmed as Jock Harris and Johndin Chen.

As standout figures in the automotive industry, Jock and Johndin’s induction is a testament to their remarkable contributions to CoolDrive's success and the company's values. 

For more than four decades, Jock has exemplified unrivalled dedication to the automotive industry.

Having served as a customer, supplier, and employee of CoolDrive, Jock has held numerous pivotal roles over the past 16 years including as Branch Manager of CoolDrive Brisbane, General Manager of Branch Operations, General Manager of Sales, and General Manager of Marketing. 

Throughout his journey at CoolDrive, Jock has left an immeasurable impact alongside his colleagues and was a key part of CoolDrive’s rapid growth after joining the business.

“Jock is well-renowned throughout our industry. His tenure at CoolDrive has been marked by unwavering dedication and an infectious enthusiasm for the industry,” said John Blanchard, Executive Chairman at CoolDrive Auto Parts.

“For Jock, it’s never been a job - it’s always been about creating a family around the people he works with. He has had an immense impact alongside the people he worked with, leading by example and shaping CoolDrive into the successful entity it is today."

Johndin, the second inductee, has been instrumental in the growth and expansion of CoolDrive for twenty years, successfully leading operations in China. 

With his experience at STT, which later became a prime supplier for CoolDrive, Johndin played a pivotal role in establishing and managing CoolDrive Shanghai, a sourcing house for the company. 

Johndin’s emphasis on teamwork and dedication has been highly regarded, leading to the successful supply of CoolDrive and other customers across 14 different countries.

“Johndin's unwavering dedication to excellence has been a driving force behind CoolDrive's international expansion and success,” said John Blanchard.

“With fantastic drive, Johndin does an outstanding job. He has been a big part of CoolDrive's growth, with his focus on cultivating a team culture and placing the utmost importance on the CoolDrive family, instrumental in shaping our company's journey.”

In expressing his deep appreciation for Jock and Johndin’s outstanding achievements, John Blanchard emphasised the significance of their contributions to the business throughout the years.
