COLOURS REVEALED FOR BLANCHARD RACING TEAM’S TWO CAR ASSAULT BLANCHARD RACING TEAM – LIVERY REVEAL

5 Feb, 2024

Blanchard Racing Team (BRT) has unveiled its brand-new look for its expanded two-car assault on the 2024 Supercars Championship season.

For its new second entry, Snowy River Caravans has joined as the naming rights partner, and its striking teal colour will be displayed on James Courtney's No. 7 Mustang. While, Aaron Love will join the main series line-up in the No. 3 CoolDrive Racing Mustang, which will proudly display the iconic blue of CoolDrive Auto Parts, Australasia’s leading family-owned automotive parts supplier for the automotive trade.

"The journey from one car to two is a testament to BRT’s growth and potential. We are incredibly excited about this two-pronged attack in 2024 with our dynamic duo of drivers in James and Aaron, and cannot wait to see what we can achieve together.” said team Co-Principal Tim Blanchard.

“We are hungry for success and ready to make our mark on the championship."

“Thank you to our naming partners, Snowy River Caravans and CoolDrive Auto Parts, for their support in making this possible.”

In his first season at BRT, Courtney will once again partner with Snowy River Caravans to bring the teal back to the podium. As one of the most experienced drivers in the field starting his 19th Supercars season, Courtney is motivated to lead his new team and mentor teammate Aaron Love in his full-time main series debut.

“I can’t wait for the season to get started at Bathurst. The teal livery on the Snowy River Caravans Mustang looks absolutely spectacular,” said Courtney.

“The entire team has put in a lot of work during the off-season, and our results will speak for themselves.

“I look forward to working with Aaron this year. He is truly one of the rising stars of the sport, and I am eager to help push him and our team forward.”

Love will make his Supercars main game debut in 2024, following a promising Dunlop Super2 series campaign by taking victory at Bathurst and completing both the Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000 as a wildcard entry in the main series. Love is eager to showcase his talent and support the growth of the BRT team.

“I'm thrilled to continue my journey with BRT,”

“The CoolDrive Racing Mustang looks fantastic as usual and I am proud to drive it in 2024.

“The BRT crew had been working around the clock during the offseason and I am confident we will experience success this year.

“I'm excited to drive alongside James, a Supercars champion, and learn from him to further build my knowledge in the sport.”

In addition to the drivers, BRT's expanding team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Tim Blanchard and John Blanchard will continue their roles as co-Team Principals. BRT has appointed Kate Harrington as its Team Manager, who brings valuable experience from successful racing organisations to lead the team’s day-to-day operations.

“I am truly excited to be joining BRT, a team with immense potential,” said Harrington.

“I believe in the Blanchards' vision and plan for the future of BRT.

“The entire team is committed to do our best to make everyone in the BRT family proud, with the goal of making the 2024 Supercars season a success.”

As BRT adds a second car to their line-up in 2024, the focus of the engineering department will be on achieving stability in managing a full-time two-car operation. Under the guidance of Technical Director Mathew Nilsson, three out of the four engineers from the previous year will return to their respective roles. Chris Fitzgerald, taking a leap to the main series full time, will provide support to Aaron Love. Data engineers Emma Cliffe and Aidan Graham will resume their roles on car No. 3 and car No. 7 respectively, while Will Jefford will step up as the Crew Chief. Joining the team will be Raymond Lau, who brings a wealth of knowledge in the Supercars category to engineer James Courtney's entry.

The incredible support from its dedicated fan community is something that Tim Blanchard and BRT have always been deeply grateful for.

“The BRT fan community has been absolutely amazing since day one. We consider them as an integral part of our BRT family, and we are continually grateful for their unwavering support.” continued Blanchard.

“We are committed to further enhancing fan engagement and providing exciting opportunities in 2024 to show our gratitude and appreciation."

BRT will begin pre-season testing at Winton Raceway on February 7, leading up to the season-opening Bathurst 500 at Mount Panorama Circuit from February 23-25
